Take Part

There are many ways to take part in the Black Cherry Fair and it’s all really simple. You can book a stall to promote your business, help a charity, or just to empty some bric-a-brac from the loft! With two arenas we have plenty of space for performers of all types. You might like to help out behind the scenes and become involved with the event organisation or promote your school or organisation by taking part in the Town Procession.

Become a stallholder at the Black Cherry Fair

Stalls are 12ft x 15ft. We do not provide anything else and so you will need to bring your own tables etc and a gazebo is advised in case it rains. Generators can only be used with the written permission of the Black Cherry fair Committee.

Just fill in the stalls application form (please provide an email where possible) and we will get in touch. You will be required to complete a risk assessment and terms before the event.

Perform at the Black Cherry Fair

We have performers at the fair on Friday evening at our ‘bands and bar’ night from 6pm – 10pm. At the Black Cherry Fair there is a main arena where local dance troupes, sports and arts groups and a whole range of diverse groups perform or demonstrate their skills. With a large arena we can accommodate most entertainers. On our music stage we host bands, solo artists and choirs

If you would like to take part then please email admin@blackcherryfair.com or use our link on the contacts page.

Volunteer at the Black Cherry Fair

We have a small committee who create and run the fair and we are always looking for more help to set up and run the event. Perhaps you can spare a few hours to act as a marshall at the Town Procession or maybe you have the time to help with some of the organisation during the months prior. Whatever your interest we would love to hear from you.

Please email admin@blackcherryfair.com and simply say ‘I would like to volunteer’ and we will be in touch
